Call of Duty: Ghosts - Nvidia nennt exklusive Grafik-Features für GeForce-Karten

Die PC-Version von Call of Duty: Ghosts bringt für Besitzer einer GeForce-Grafikkarte von Nvidia diverse exklusive Grafik-Features mit sich.

Der Grafikkartenhersteller Nvidia hat auf seiner offiziellen Webseite unter geforce.com eine Übersicht verschiedener exklusiver Grafik-Features veröffentlicht, die die PC-Version des am 5. November 2013 veröffentlichten Shooters Call of Duty: Ghosts für Besitzer von GeForce-Grafikkarten mit sich bringt.

Dabei lobt das Unternehmen den PC-Ableger des Spiels als die bessere Alternative zu den 720p- und 1080p-Spielerfahrungen auf der Xbox One und der PlayStation 4 - wobei das »Next-Gen« in diesem Zusammenhang vielsagend in Anführungszeichen gesetzt wird.

Als exklusive Features für Besitzer einer Grafikkarte der Marke GeForce GTX führt Nvidia übrigens die folgenden Dinge an:

NVIDIA HBAO+ adds realistic Ambient Occlusion shadowing and shading around objects and surfaces that occlude light, with a considerably-higher degree of precision than previous AO techniques.
NVIDIA TXAA temporal anti-aliasing eliminates the distracting movement of anti-aliased lines and edges, and also eliminates other artifacts associated with anti-aliasing. Edge anti-aliasing is comparable with 8xMSAA, but at the performance cost of 4xMSAA.
