Um die DirectX-11-Effekte allerdings auch nutzen zu können, muss dieser Patch auf die Version 1.9 für Crysis 2 installiert werden. Das Update sorgt auch für die Kompatibilität des Spiels zu den neuen HD-Texturen und behebt Fehler im Multiplayer.
