Homefront: The Revolution - Patch 2.0: Termin & Performance-Boost

Patch 2.0 für Homefront: The Revolution befindet sich bereits in Arbeit und soll um August 2016 erscheinen.

Nach der Veröffentlichung des Patchs 1.06 für den Openworld-Shooter Homefront: The Revolution konnte ein Performancegewinn von 25 Prozent auf Konsolen gemessen werden. Doch die Dambuster Studios versichern in einem neuen Statement im offiziellen Forum, dass das Team weiter daran arbeiten würde und noch mehr Leistung aus dem Spiel herausholen möchten. Immerhin war die Technik schon zum Test von Homefront 2 nicht zufriedenstellend.

Das nächste große Update 2.0 soll im August 2016 erscheinen und neben weiteren Performanceschüben und Bugfixes auch den nervigen »Save Stall«-Bug endgültig eliminieren.

"Since the launch of Homefront: The Revolution we have released multiple patches and updates, mainly focusing on critical issues and the 'save stall' issue on console, but we have also achieved some performance improvements as this recent analysis by Digital Foundry shows. Nonetheless, we are continuing to work on performance, and this is the primary focus for our next major update, 2.0, which is currently scheduled for August. This will introduce further significant improvements to frame rate, as well as additional bug fixes and reduction of save stalls down to a minimum."
