| Tests - Action - Ego-Shooter Petra Schmitz: The game reminds me of traffic in Munich: lots of road works force you to make absurd detours to avoid traffic jams. If you replace road works and traffic jams with mountains and valleys you'll end up with the world of Far Cry 2. And of course very often you have to get from A (at the bottom of the map) to B (at the top of the map). That's a very very long distance. And it's annoying! However, once you arrive at the destination your heart fills with joy because it's just so much fun to fight against the APF and the UFLL. The AI certainly is on par with the first Far Cry and even allows more flexibility during the skirmishes because the men in Far Cry 2 know how to run away. To make it short: Far Cry 2 can be reproached with a lot of things, but once the Savannah is burning they are forgotten, at least temporarily until you need to get from B (at the top of the map) to C (somewhere else).
