AMD Catalyst 11.10 Preview Version 2 - Treiber für Rage und Battlefield 3
AMD hat eine neue Vorabversion des Catalyst 11.10 online gestellt, die vor allem für Spieler von Rage und der Battlefield Beta interessant ist.

AMD hatte bereits einzelne Treiber für die Spiele Rage und Battlefield 3 veröffentlicht, wobei die Version für Rage noch auf dem Catalyst 10.9 basierte und zunächst Probleme bereitete. Der nun veröffentlichte Catalyst 11.10 Preview Version 2 nutzt bereits die für diesen Monat geplante Catalyst-Version als Grundlage und verbessert die Leistung bei beiden Spielen.
AMD verspricht bessere Performance bei deaktivierter oder im Spiel aktivierter Kantenglättung und für Einzelkarten oder CrossfireX-Kombinationen der AMD Radeon HD 5000- und 6000-Serien. Bei Rage kommt auch noch die Radeon HD 4000-Serie in den Genuss der Verbesserungen. Außerdem behebt der Treiber Probleme mit dem neuen Spiel von id Software. Der Vorab-Grafikkartentreiber steht bei AMD im Support-Bereich zum Download bereit.
