Der Entwickler und Publisher SCS Software hat die Patches 1.23 und 1.2 für seine beiden LKW-Simulationsspiele Euro Truck Simulator 2 und American Truck Simulator veröffentlicht. Die Updates befanden sich zuvor bereits im Steam-Beta-Test und bringen unter anderem eine Anbindung an den Steam-Workshop mit sich. Für Spieler bedeutet das: Mods und Erweiterungen lassen sich bedeutend einfacher installieren und verwalten.

Und der Workshop-Support lohnt sich: Für Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2) stehen bereits mehr als 230 inoffizielle Modifikationen bereit. Der American Truck Simulator (ATS) kommt immerhin auf 180. Unter anderem gibt es neue Fahrzeuge, Anpassungen an bestehenden Vehikeln und neue Strecken.
